My time spent in prayer today is really opening me to consider seeking where God is at work in all things. And I think this is where God is growing me at this place in this time. Because “all things” includes the homeless, the sick and dying, injustice, depression, narcissism…the list goes on and on. I so want the world to be fair and just. Yet the reality is that people walk over one another to get to the top, society values life more than quality of life. I must be still to listen and see God at work in the midst of these difficult situations. Come Christ our Lord, fill us with your Holy Spirit, open our eyes that we may see the fingerprints of God’s work. Open our hearts that we may follow YOUR path despite the cultural norms that invade our lives daily.
